Dr. Torres-Rimbau has been an independent consultant for dual language immersion programs since 2005. She also served as the chair of the dual language program at the University of St. Thomas-Houston in 2013. Additionally, she volunteers as an English as a second language teacher at her local church. Before starting her professional journey, she earned a Doctor of Education in bilingual and dual language education from the University of Houston in 1987.
